Hair Regeneration Using Stem Cells
Stem Cells offers the most effective and permanent solution for Hair Loss. We utilize Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP - BioxGel) and Stem Cells to regenerate hair follicles and stimulate hair growth. PRP and Stem Cells activate the cells already present on the scalp (progenitor cells) and hair follicles.
Stem Cell Therapy has the ability to build or reinforce the hair follicle.
The Stem Cells used in our therapy are of the highest quality available, taken from the Umbilical Cord from donor mothers. These mothers donate their tissues during a live healthy birth when they have their babies delivered by C Section. These are very close in potency and characteristics to Embryonic Stem Cells, without any of the ethical concerns of how Embryonic Stem Cells are obtained (from abortions). By using Umbilical Cord Stem Cells we can deliver thousands of times more Stem Cells than what will be stimulated by your body to send on its own. And most importantly, these will be a much younger, more potent form of stem cells, than your own adult aged Stem Cells.
The common denominator of chronic disease is inflammation. Inflammation causes heart disease, autoimmune disease, cancer and increases the aging process. Reducing inflammation is a key to improving health and slowing down the insidious progression of chronic disease.
Inflammation also causes hair loss in numerous autoimmune diseases like Alopecia Areata (AA), Discoid Lupus (DL) and Lichen Planopilaris (LPP) and is an important factor in male and female Androgenic Alopecia. Reducing systemic inflammation and reversing its harmful effects on end organ destruction is a key component in modifying disease and improving the symptoms of disease and general wellness.
MSCs have been shown to produce anti-inflammatory molecules which can modulate humoral and cellular immune responses. Considering their regenerative potential and immunoregulatory effect, MSC therapy is a promising tool in the treatment of degenerative, inflammatory, and autoimmune diseases Other roles of mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) are to maintain the stem cell niche, facilitate recovery after injury, and ensure healthy aging and the homeostasis of organ and tissues. MSCs have recently emerged as a new therapeutic option for hair loss
Hair growth depends on the activity of the highly proliferative hair matrix cells in the hair bulb. The hair matrix cells are supplied by slow-cycling and multipotent stem cells existing in the bulge region near the insertion of the arrector pili muscle. The hair growth cycle consists of the anagen, catagen and telogen phases. The anagen phase is a growth condition of the hair follicle and normally lasts for several years. The catagen phase is an involuting or regressive condition that follows the anagen phase and lasts for 2 or 3 weeks
